The Community Informatics Institute (CII) is pleased to announce that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a Construction Permit (CP) to our nonprofit for a Low-Powered FM (LPFM) Radio station, to be located in Vienna, Maryland. The station identification will be “WVCI-LP 92.9 FM Vienna Maryland”. Our goal is to be on-the-air in 2025.

On December 7, 2023, the Community Informatics Institute applies for a license from the FCC to construct a low-powered FM radio station, based in its headquarters in Vienna, Maryland.

On November 28, 2023, the Community Informatics Institute becomes an official nonprofit corporation in Delaware.
